Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and addressing inquiries and complaints.
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory tasks, and cash handling.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and quality goods.
• Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.
• Resolve issues including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• Maintain reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
• Hire and train new personnel for sales and maintain related reports.
• Follow health and safety standards and maintain store image and displays.
• May perform managerial duties such as opening/closing the store and implementing marketing strategies.
