Job summary

Roofmart is seeking a Bilingual Sales Specialist in Ottawa. Drive revenue by building relationships with contractors, architects and customers, expanding market share and delivering customer-centric solutions.

You will create action plans, work with suppliers to execute them, educate customers on products, and manage payments and credit within policy. The role requires a College Diploma or Degree in Business/Sales/Marketing, 3+ years of sales experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness

Qualifications

• Experience in sales roles and building customer relationships.
• Proven ability to define and execute sales plans and targets.
• Strong communication skills and customer-centric mindset.
• Authorized to work in Canada and able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales.
• Grow new business and expand market share by offering solutions to contractors, architects and customers.
• Define, build, and monitor the Sales Plan with targets and priorities.
• Coordinate with suppliers to execute sales plans and educate customers on products.
• Manage customer payments and credit with credit managers and AR adjustments.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing and managing relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of Company products
• Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions for the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers
• Defining, building, implementing and monitoring Sales Plan, including sales strategies, targets, and priorities
• Creating action plans for defined sales targets and working with our suppliers to execute the plans
• Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels
• Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• College Diploma or Degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3 or more years of successful Sales experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Ability to travel

Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 **this is a replacement***
