Job description

eSupply Canada, a national Indigenous-owned supplier of business supplies and commercial furniture, is offering a rare opportunity for a true sales hunter to build a national commercial furniture book of business with a structural market advantage.

We are already positioned on federal and provincial public-sector standing offers, providing immediate access to government and institutional procurement channels that many furniture sales professionals spend years trying to enter. This role is designed for a Commercial Furniture Sales Specialist who knows how to prospect, navigate corporate and public-sector procurement environments, and convert relationships into long-term accounts.

You will be selling commercial furniture solutions into corporate Canada and the public sector, including North America’s only Canadian-made, Indigenous-designed ergonomic office chair, the Waaban Chair. This flagship product creates a differentiated entry point into boardrooms, government offices and institutional environments, giving buyers a credible way to align procurement decisions with reconciliation commitments while meeting performance, design and price expectations.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, relationship development and winning new business. You will help launch the division from the ground up, including developing our commercial furniture website and product offering, while building and scaling a high-value portfolio of accounts supported by existing public-sector procurement access, a national supply chain and a differentiated market position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help build and launch eSupply Canada’s commercial furniture division
  • Prospect and develop new furniture opportunities across corporate, public-sector and institutional markets
  • Build and manage a national sales pipeline
  • Develop relationships with government buyers, procurement teams, facilities managers and other key decision-makers
  • Lead client opportunities from needs assessment through proposal, specification and close
  • Prepare furniture quotes, layouts and solution proposals with manufacturer partners
  • Lead the development and launch of the commercial furniture website, working with internal and external resources
  • Build and maintain the online furniture offering, including product selection, categories, specifications, pricing and manufacturer content
  • Identify and pursue public-sector and institutional procurement opportunities, including RFPs and tenders
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, project teams and logistics partners
  • Maintain CRM activity, pipeline reporting and sales forecasting
  • Represent eSupply Canada in client meetings, presentations and industry events
Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial furniture sales, contract interiors, workplace solutions or B2B sales
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop relationships and win new business
  • Familiarity with public-sector procurement or institutional sales environments
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
  • Ability to manage sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decisions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Comfortable helping build a new business line and taking ownership beyond direct sales
  • Experience with e-commerce, website development or online product merchandising is an asset
  • Experience with RFP processes is an asset
  • Experience with CAD or furniture specification tools is an asset
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
