Job summary

Orgill Canada is seeking a dedicated field sales professional to deepen relationships with existing partners and cultivate new ones across Bulkley-Nechako-Kitimat and surrounding areas. You will present Orgill’s programs, including inventory management, pricing strategies, store design services, and e-commerce solutions, tailoring offerings to each customer’s needs.

• Experience in wholesale or retail hardware industry is a strong asset.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and willingness to travel across designated territories.

Position Summary:

In this vital position, you're a key partner in our overarching goal to ensure customer success. Spending 90% of your time in the field, your mission is to deepen relationships with our existing partners and forge new ones, introducing them to the vast array of programs and services Orgill offers. Your efforts will directly impact our customers' success, bringing them the solutions they need to grow and thrive in a competitive marketplace.

The Territory:

Bulkley-Nechako-Kitimat areas.

How You'll Contribute:

• Champion customer success by introducing Orgill's comprehensive range of programs beyond Smart Start, including inventory management, retail pricing strategies, store layout and design services, and cutting-edge e-commerce solutions. Your goal is to tailor these offerings to meet the unique needs and challenges of each customer.
• Build customer loyalty by identifying and seizing opportunities to enhance their success, using Orgill's extensive program offerings to meet their evolving needs.
• Expand our customer base with compelling, customized sales proposals that highlight how Orgill's programs can propel their business forward.
• Be a visible and proactive presence at Orgill Dealer Markets, optimizing every interaction to reinforce our commitment to customer success.
• Maintain up-to-the-minute industry and product knowledge, positioning yourself as a go-to advisor dedicated to our customers' growth and success.
• Devise and implement targeted action plans, focusing on significant sales activities and strategic visits that prioritize customer needs and success.
• Keep meticulous records of customer interactions, ensuring you're always prepared to offer targeted support and solutions.

• Experience in wholesale or retail hardware industry is considered a strong asset, particularly for candidates eager to leverage their knowledge to support and grow customer success.
• Valid drivers with clean records, ready to travel extensively across designated territories to advocate for and support our customers.
• Those with the ability to travel to the United States periodically for events and meetings.
• The successful applicant will need to work in this territory on a full time basis.
• Previous outside sales experience preferred.
