Job summary

Orgill Canada is seeking a field-based sales professional dedicated to customer success in Bulkley-Nechako-Kitimat regions. You will spend 90% of your time in the field, deepening existing partnerships and forging new ones, presenting Orgill’s programs and services to help customers grow in a competitive market.

Your territory coverage includes Bulkley-Nechako-Kitimat areas. You will champion programs, tailor solutions, and travel extensively, including occasional trips to the United States for

Qualifications

• Must have passion for customer success and hardware industry.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-driven with a proven track record in outside/field sales.
• Experience in wholesale or retail hardware is a strong asset.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across territories.
• Willingness to travel to the United States for events/meetings.
• Role requires full-time commitment within designated territory.

In this vital position, you're a key partner in our overarching goal to ensure customer success. Spending 90% of your time in the field, your mission is to deepen relationships with our existing partners and forge new ones, introducing them to the vast array of programs and services Orgill offers. Your efforts will directly impact our customers' success, bringing them the solutions they need to grow and thrive in a competitive marketplace.

How You'll Contribute:

• Champion customer success by introducing Orgill's comprehensive range of programs beyond Smart Start, including inventory management, retail pricing strategies, store layout and design services, and cutting-edge e-commerce solutions. Your goal is to tailor these offerings to meet the unique needs and challenges of each customer.
• Build customer loyalty by identifying and seizing opportunities to enhance their success, using Orgill's extensive program offerings to meet their evolving needs.
• Expand our customer base with compelling, customized sales proposals that highlight how Orgill's programs can propel their business forward.
• Be a visible and proactive presence at Orgill Dealer Markets, optimizing every interaction to reinforce our commitment to customer success.
• Maintain up-to-the-minute industry and product knowledge, positioning yourself as a go-to advisor dedicated to our customers' growth and success.
• Devise and implement targeted action plans, focusing on significant sales activities and strategic visits that prioritize customer needs and success.
• Keep meticulous records of customer interactions, ensuring you're always prepared to offer targeted support and solutions.

Who We're Looking For:

• Tech-savvy candidates proficient in Google Suite, Salesforce, and MS Office, using these tools to further customer success.
• Experience in wholesale or retail hardware industry is considered a strong asset, particularly for candidates eager to leverage their knowledge to support and grow customer success.
• Valid drivers with clean records, ready to travel extensively across designated territories to advocate for and support our customers.
• Those with the ability to travel to the United States periodically for events and meetings.
• The successful applicant will need to work in this territory on a full time basis.
• Previous outside sales experience preferred.
