Job summary

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells Stryker products to physicians and staff to maximize profitability and volume.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates selling activities for Neurosurgical and ENT portfolios.
• Educates doctors and staff on product use and maintenance and demonstrates product value in clinical settings.
• Generates and manages a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
• Participates in trade shows, conventions, and clinical meetings as needed.
• Trains and develops other sales personnel when required.

What you will do:

As a Sales Representative, you will plan, direct, and coordinate the selling of Stryker products (specifically Stryker's Neurosurgical and ENT portfolios) to physicians and to obtain maximum profitability and volume. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Instruments sales team while championing Stryker's Mission and Values.

• Promotes and sells a portfolio of clinically focused products, services and solutions directly to current and new end customers. Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices.
• Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
• Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker's Neurosurgical and ENT products as assigned by sales manager
• Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products
• Directs product evaluations in operating rooms, hospitals and office settings
• May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
• Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
• May assist in the training and development of other sales personnel
• Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products

What you need

Required:

• University Degree
• 3+ years outside sales experience

Preferred:

• Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology
• 3+ years in Medical Device Sales

Additional Information:

• Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations
• Must have a valid driver's license

Canada Pay Ranges:

• Canada: $92,500 - $123,300 CAD Annual
