Job summary

Stryker Canada is seeking an Associate Sales Representative Extremities. You will promote and sell Stryker products, conduct product evaluations in operating rooms and clinics, and drive territory progress with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You will educate doctors and staff on proper use, handle trade show support and field activities, and travel as needed. Requires university degree and 1+ years sales/clinical experience; prior medical device experience preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• 1+ years of sales or clinical experience required.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience as an Associate Sales Representative for a Medical Device company.
• Preferred: Operating room experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Stryker products in the assigned territory.
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on proper use and maintenance of products.
• Direct product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings.
• Support trade shows, conventions and clinical meetings as needed.
• Maintain awareness of territory progress and communicate results to management.

What you will do:

• You are directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker products
• You will educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products
• You will direct product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings
• You may assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
• You will keep Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis
• You will solve product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
• You will manage and maintain a sample inventory of products
• You must understand and adhere to all operating room and pertinent Occupational Health and Safety Act guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
• You have the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities, and will have authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents
• You have authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required:

• University Degree
• 1+ years of sales or clinical experience

Preferred:

• 1+ years of experience as an Associate Sales Representative for a Medical Device company strongly preferred
• Experience working in a clinical setting, operating room experience preferred

Additional Information:

• Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Canada Pay Ranges:

• Canada: $70,000 and is eligible to earn variable commission + benefits.
