Sales Representative, Home & Auto Insurance (Operating as Dyck Insurance)

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Western Operations, you will be responsible for identifying prospects’ needs, influencing decisions, and selling insurance products. Your core responsibilities include:

  1. Utilizing emerging technology solutions such as phone, chat, email, SMS, and video conferencing to tailor interactions.
  2. Identifying customer needs to develop contact plans, introduce new products and services, and quote and market personal insurance business.
  3. Selling products by establishing contact, developing relationships, responding to inquiries, following up on expiry date cards, re-quoting, and contacting leads.
  4. Creating a trusting environment that fosters new sales opportunities and retains existing business.
  5. Accurately processing account changes, maintaining customer documentation, and preparing follow-up correspondence.
Qualifications
  • An AIC license is required; other national licenses are a plus.
  • Minimum of three years’ sales experience, preferably in personal lines, automobile, and property insurance.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle competing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Epic, Salesforce, and company portals is preferred.
