Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will assist members by providing product and service information, resolving complaints, and assessing risks for automobile and property policies.

The core responsibilities include:

  1. Responding to telephone inquiries and written requests, processing changes in the system, applying underwriting standards, assessing risks, and handling general account inquiries.
  2. Resolving product and service issues, clarifying complaints, determining causes, explaining solutions, expediting corrections, following up, and recommending improvements to management.
  3. Attracting potential members by answering questions, providing product information, obtaining expiry dates, and meeting sales objectives.
  4. Processing rewrites and remarketing following established guidelines.
  5. Documenting insurance transactions, maintaining current rate manuals, and updating coverage information.
  6. Maintaining logs, reviewing issues, and discussing contentious matters with management as needed.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • An AIC license is required.
  • Completion or commitment to complete CIP Principles and Practice, Property 1, and Automobile courses or equivalent.
  • Experience in personal lines automobile and property insurance is an asset.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
