Kerr Controls Ltd. is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our Dartmouth, NS location.

This permanent role focuses on delivering knowledgeable product support for HVAC/R customers, driving branch revenue, and maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships. Ideal candidates will have wholesale Inside Sales experience, solid HVAC/R knowledge, and strong computer skills for order entry and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale inside sales is preferred.
• Strong HVAC/R product knowledge is required.
• Intermediate computer skills are required.
• Meticulous attention to detail for order entry is essential.
• Ability to follow processes and complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable product support and basic solutions for HVAC/R customers and day-to-day account needs.
• Contribute to meeting sales targets and support branch revenue growth.
• Follow up with vendors on lead times and stock availability.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Enter orders accurately, price correctly, and follow up to ensure smooth transactions.
• Assist outside sales team with quotes, orders, and follow-up.

Kerr Controls Ltd. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We are experiencing significant growth and expanding our offerings, making this an exciting time to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated, and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative working from our Dartmouth, NS location.

CA$90,000.00–CA$210,000.00 yearly

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable product support and basic solutions for HVAC/R customers and day-to-day account needs.
• Contribute to meeting sales targets and support overall branch revenue growth.
• Follow up with vendors on lead times, stock availability, etc.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Complete accurate order entry, pricing, and follow-up to support smooth customer transactions.
• Work closely with the outside sales team to help prepare quotes, enter and track customer sales orders, and ensure timely follow-up and support.
• Competent computer skills with experience using sales, inventory, and customer management software.
• Participate in training and development activities and support the onboarding of new team members when required.

• Must possess intermediate computer skills
• Must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail for order entry
• Ensure accurate and thorough completion of all paperwork

• Willingness to participate in both technical and professional training
• Must maintain an exceptionally positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Must be willing to work from either Dartmouth, NS or Halifax, NS. Location could vary each day
