Job summary

Sinclair Supply Ltd. in Surrey, BC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our HVACR wholesale team. You will assist customers in-store, over the phone and by email, coordinate deliveries, and promote our broad HVACR product line.

You will research products, provide recommendations, process orders, and maintain accurate stock information while building lasting relationships with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC industry and parts is a plus.
• Excellent relationship-building with customers, vendors and teammates.
• Willingness to learn and grow in HVACR product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases in-store, on the phone, and via email.
• Relay delivery dates, inventory, and promotions between vendors and customers.
• Research products and provide recommendations from our HVACR assortment.
• Enter, pick and pack sales orders generated at the counter.
• Provide exceptional service to in-store customers and maintain counter area.
• Monitor stock and inform purchasing about low inventory.
• Follow up on backorders with vendors and provide accurate delivery dates.
• Process returns to customers both on account and cash sales.
• Respond to afterhours emergency calls per schedule.
• Participate in annual inventory counts.

Our team in Surrey is currently looking for Inside Sales Representatives to become an integral part of the team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with their purchases in-store, over phone and email.
• Relay delivery dates, inventory, and promotions between vendors and customers.
• Research product for customers and provide recommendations on our assortment of products.
• Enter, pick and pack sales orders generated at the counter.
• Provide exceptional assistance to in-store customers.
• Maintain and clean the counter area including any merchandising displays.
• Monitor internal stock and inform purchasing team about potential low inventory levels.
• Follow up on backorders with vendors and provide customer with accurate delivery dates.
• Process returns to customers both on account and through cash sales.
• Respond to afterhours emergency calls according to schedule.
• Participate in an annual inventory count.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification/Experience:

• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of HVAC industry and parts considered an asset
• High School Diploma, HVACR, or trade experience
• Knowledge of products sold in HVACR industry; preference given to those with in-depth knowledge of hydronics
• Minimum 2 years of experience with customer service or counter sales in a wholesale/distribution environment
• Outstanding history of building and fostering strong relationships with customers, vendors and teammates
• Comprehensive product knowledge and willingness to continually learn about new product offerings
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Ability to learn and operate order processing software (Eclipse)

• Working remotely is not an option.
