Job summary

Vancouver Sign Group is seeking a Sales Rep to cultivate client relationships and drive sign and display project sales in the Vancouver area. You will coordinate with design and production teams, prepare quotes, and manage projects from take-off to delivery, ensuring on-time and on-budget results.

The role requires strong people skills, CRM proficiency, and the ability to visit client sites. A driver’s license and comfort with various software tools are essential for success.

Vancouver Sign Group recently acquired TDH Signs, a custom sign and art display manufacturer. with the acquisition of TDH, this has placed Vancouver Sign Group as a leader in the sign and printing industry here in BC. We pride ourselves on being able to take any project from concept to completion - all in house. We have three divisions in our company. Digital printing, custom fabrication, and a dedicated in house installation team - all of which work closely together to ensure everyone is set up for success for the same outcome; a beautiful product that the customer and we are proud of!

Working with Vancouver Sign Group, you can find yourself working on some of the most iconic signs and events around the City and Canada. With the recently completion of multiple national sign rollout for retail and hospitality clients to completing the FIFA World Cup Signage for Vancouver and Toronto, the possibilities and locations are endless.

The start of the success train begins with one very important person that we are in search for, a Sales Rep!

As a Sales Rep, and a member of our team you should:

• Be friendly, outgoing, and have great people skills! Being able to talk to clients and coworkers about more than just work is an important relationship building trait.
• Be computer literate - working in the sign and print industry will require you to use a multitude of softwares such as Adobe PDF, our CRM/workflow software, Excel, etc. The use of Corel Draw or Illustrator is a plus!
• Have a drivers license, you may be required to do site visits/checks, meet with clients and oversee installs on larger projects.
• Have a great eye for detail. Details can make or break a project in each and every phase. Not every project is the same, and may require different levels of problem solving from what vinyl should be used all the way to what voltage/amps are required for certain signs. All of which will be taught through experience (your own as well as ours).

As a Sales Rep, the team will rely on you to feed their hopper, and hunger! The duties that are included in this (but not limited to) are:

• Forge new, and evolve existing client relationships in specific markets.
• Attending take-off meetings with the project manager, production manager, and installation manager.
• Coordinating with our design/pre-press team and of course, the client.
• Quoting your projects. Don't worry, there will always be someone around to assist you through the more complicated projects.
• Ensuring you are following your project through the process, ensuring all deliverables are met on time, on budget, and top quality.
• Create detailed work orders with our workflow software

Remuneration of a base salary + commissions. Total compensation can range from $65k - $200K+ The top end of the range is based on your own ability to be able to sell products / projects.
