Job summary

Onsite Sign Group is seeking an experienced Sign Designer to develop creative commercial signage concepts in collaboration with our sales team. You will ensure each design is technically achievable from the outset, balancing artistic vision with manufacturability.

The ideal candidate has strong sign construction knowledge, including extrusions, scaling and attachment methods, and can communicate ideas through dimensional layouts using CorelDRAW. Remote candidates are welcome for the right fit.

Job description

Onsite Sign is looking for an experienced Sign Designer with a creative eye and a strong technical understanding of commercial signage. This is not a production drafting or fabrication role. You'll work directly with our sales team to develop creative sign concepts that excite customers while ensuring each design is technically achievable from the very beginning.

We are looking for someone who understands that great design is more than creating something on a computer screen, but you will know how signs are manufactured and installed, and able to recognize when a logo, font, or concept will present challenges before a project reaches production.

Strong knowledge of commercial sign construction is essential including extrusions, scaling, structural considerations, and methods of attachment, with the ability to communicate concepts through dimensional layouts and side profiles, using CorelDRAW.

We are looking for:

• Several Years of commercial sign design experience.

• Technical knowledge of sign manufacturing

We're open to remote candidates for the right person.

Because this role works hand-in-hand with our sales team, you'll need to be comfortable participating in regular phone calls and Microsoft Teams meetings to discuss customer needs, develop concepts, and collaborate throughout the design process. We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of the conversation and can confidently contribute ideas, not someone who simply receives a work order and sends back a drawing.
