Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and coordinating all sales strategies to meet company objectives. Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an overall sales strategy for company products, including pricing and customer service policies.
- Create action plans that define objectives, goals, schedules, and assignments to achieve targeted sales opportunities.
- Develop and manage procedures for customer order processing and supervise sales and customer service teams responsible for implementation.
- Oversee market research and analysis, including market segments, buying trends, and competitor analysis.
- Provide recommendations for product improvement, development, and testing.
- Verify and report on sales activities, including leads generated, sales orders received, sales by product, and customer lists, determining appropriate reporting frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Ensure communications support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements.
- Recommend improvements to sales strategies based on market research and competitor analysis.
- Implement and manage distribution strategies and multiple channel selling approaches.
- Build, develop, and manage a sales team capable of executing sales and service initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Ag Business, or a related field.

- Strong leadership and communication proficiency.

Job Expectations / Working Conditions
- This position requires frequent travel (over 50%), including international travel.
- Must be able to travel outside the local area and overnight as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities.
