Job Summary

Assist store management with basic store operations, developing associates, and achieving sales goals and performance standards.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Meet and exceed sales goals and performance standards.
  2. Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
  3. Provide feedback, coaching, and enforce company policies.
  4. Perform opening and closing duties.
  5. Manage daily store operations in management’s absence.
  6. Manage Loss Prevention practices.
  7. Communicate store needs to management.
  8. Complete bank deposits.
  9. Complete assigned tasks promptly.
  10. Complete required training.
  11. Provide a fun, full-service experience to customers.
  12. Resolve customer issues effectively.
  13. Demonstrate Journeys' culture to the team.
Job Requirements
  1. Prior retail sales experience preferred.
  2. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  4. Desire to succeed in retail.
  5. Willingness to learn.
  6. Completion of training programs or equivalent.
  7. Availability for night and weekend shifts.
  8. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  9. Must be at least 18 years old.
