Job summary

The Arlington Hotel and River’s Edge, part of Carmens Group in Paris, Ontario, seeks a Sales & Event Manager to drive new bookings and flawless events. You’ll blend hospitality, sales acumen, and meticulous planning to build client relationships and deliver memorable experiences.

Lead consultations, tours, and proposals while coordinating with culinary and operations teams. Flexible schedule, evenings and weekends may be required. Join a legacy of growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in event planning, catering, hospitality or events-based role with sales background.
• 2-3 years of leadership experience.
• Post-secondary education in Event Management or related field preferred.
• CPSA or WPIC certifications considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Event Temple is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Actively pursuing and securing new event bookings through proactive sales efforts and networking.
• Conducting client consultations to understand vision and event goals.
• Serve as primary contact for clients through sales and planning process.
• Lead site tours, client meetings, and coordinate logistics for events.
• Prepare customized proposals, contracts, and event documentation.
• Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and collaborate with culinary/ops/service teams.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and leads; stay informed on industry trends.
• Support on-site event execution to meet high standards.
