The Arlington Hotel in Paris, Ontario is seeking a Banquet Server as part of Carmens Group. This part-time, permanent position supports weddings, corporate galas, and other events at our boutique venues, delivering hospitality with warmth and style in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, or other high-volume hospitality environments.
• A natural ability to connect with guests and deliver exceptional service.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with guests and team members.
• Ability to stay organized, composed, and effective in fast-paced settings.
• Guest-first mindset and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Leadership qualities and ability to support or guide a team when needed.
• Polished, professional appearance for upscale events.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• G Class driver's license is an asset.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism to create a positive first impression.
• Serving food and beverages efficiently while maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards.
• Communicating with the kitchen to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests.
• Becoming familiar with each event's menu, timeline, and service plan.
• Anticipating guest needs and providing attentive service throughout each event.
• Clearing and resetting tables and maintaining clean service areas.
• Assisting with banquet setup, service stations, and restocking supplies.
• Following the direction of the Banquet Supervisor for smooth execution.
• Demonstrating professionalism and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Working with the team to deliver exceptional service and memorable events.
