About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to expand our Gas, Fire, and Flame Detection Systems across Canada, focusing on sectors like marine, industrial, energy, manufacturing, and transportation. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a global leader in life-saving safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  3. Conduct client visits, virtual presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
  4. Participate in industry events, trade shows, webinars, and learning sessions.
  5. Collaborate with distributors, engineering firms, and contractors.
  6. Utilize our CRM system to track leads, interactions, and sales forecasts.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and technologies.
  8. Achieve or surpass sales targets and KPIs set annually and monthly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or 2-5 years of technical sales experience in marine, industrial, or energy sectors in Canada.
  • Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and customer-focused.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office 365, and other business tools.
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, sometimes on short notice.
