Role Mission

As a Sales Development Team Manager at CUBE, you will lead and develop a team of four Sales Development Representatives in Toronto. This role involves both leadership and active contribution to outbound activities to generate new leads for our sales team within the Financial Services Industry.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 4 Sales Development Representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to ensure alignment, motivation, and professional development.
  • Monitor team performance, track KPIs, and report progress to the global BDR manager.
  • Develop a solid understanding of our target industry and organizations.
  • Identify new business opportunities through research and analysis of prospective customers’ needs and challenges.
  • Drive outbound lead generation using cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
  • Secure meetings for the sales team and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role (bonus for experience in enterprise and/or financial services sales).
  • Strong understanding of outbound and inbound sales strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organization and resilience, with strong time and data management skills, and the ability to handle rejection and objections effectively.
  • Leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
