VRIFY is seeking a Toronto-based Sales Development Manager who can drive the continued growth of VRIFY’s Visualization business to help establish us as the definitive leader in AI-enhanced mineral exploration. You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the sales motion that maximizes revenue while fostering strong relationships with our customers and partners.

VRIFY is looking for an experienced and organized Sales Development Manager to drive significant revenue growth in our North American Visualization business.

For the past five years VRIFY’s primary business has been creating interactive 3D presentations for mineral exploration and mining companies so they can better communicate to their investors and stakeholders the true value of their results.

With a well-established reputation across the mining industry, we intend to build on our past success, expand our global presence and establish ourselves as the definitive leader in AI-enhanced mineral exploration and immersive 3D and 360° presentations.

In this role, you’ll ensure our sales efforts align with VRIFY’s larger mission, helping redefine the mineral exploration industry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Partner with other Sales Development and Enterprise Account Managers to implement a forward-thinking sales strategy to penetrate and expand within the mining and capital markets sectors across North America.
    • Ensure all sales efforts are aligned with product development and marketing strategies to drive continued momentum.
    • Participate in industry conferences, in-person meetings and events to represent the company and gather insights on market trends that will inform product development and marketing strategies. Occasional travel will be required.
  • Revenue Growth:
    • Take ownership of prospecting and lead generation across referral, inbound, and outbound channels—working closely with an Enterprise Account Manager to build and advance a high-quality sales pipeline.
    • Conduct initial discovery calls, build relationships with leads and qualify regional opportunities.
    • Prepare background research on prospects and schedule demos with Enterprise Account Managers.
    • Deliver on ambitious, achievable sales targets and oversee the execution of plans to exceed these goals.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure the company meets or exceeds revenue targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-value prospects, customers, partners, and stakeholders, positioning VRIFY as a trusted, indispensable partner in their mining journey.
    • Ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience by clearly documenting proposal details, following up on authorization forms, and delivering well-structured handoffs to our internal teams.
    • Collaborate with strategic advisory teams to develop and execute on strategic account management plans to build advocacy networks and drive additional revenue through referral-based sales.
    • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, contacts and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ domain and success criteria to ensure product and service recommendations best fit with their needs and open up opportunities for VRIFY to add value.
    • Stay ahead of market trends, analyzing competitive landscapes, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to refine the sales strategy.
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making and forward planning.
    • Identify risks and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions to revenue growth.
    • Make it your mission to understand the mining space—so you can speak to your customers’ language and add value with insights.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Geology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications related to mining or capital markets are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years specifically within the mining industry or capital markets.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving significant revenue growth in a B2B technology environment, preferably within the mining or industrial sectors.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the mining sector and its operational and strategic challenges.
  • Outbound Motion: Demonstrated ability to break into accounts through well-crafted cold outreach, driven by research and relevance.
  • Customer-Centric: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills, capable of building and maintaining profitable relationships.
  • Data-Driven: Highly motivated and target-driven, with a proven history of success in a competitive market environment. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex sales data and metrics to guide decisions.
  • Technology Expertise: Familiarity with CRM/sales analytics tools to optimize sales performance and processes.
  • Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Languages: French, Spanish, or Portuguese language skills (for LATAM outreach).
  • Bonus: Familiarity with AI and technology solutions within the mining industry.
