A leading biotechnology company in Vancouver seeks a Sales Development Representative to support sales efforts. The role requires engaging with customers to provide an excellent experience, assisting with market analysis, and managing administrative duties, all within a dynamic and science-oriented environment. Candidates should have a Life Sciences degree and may benefit from prior sales or customer service experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply scientific expertise, business acumen, and solution-oriented customer service to establish and nurture positive relationships with customers
Engage with and support prospective STEMCELL customers via LiveChat, e-mail, cold-calling and social media (eg LinkedIn)
Perform literature and market analysis to identify and target potential new customers, and set up meetings or calls with appropriate territory sales representatives
Assist with data entry and administrative duties for our Marketing, Inside Sales, and Field Sales teams
Document communications and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) database for the Sales team
Knowledge and Qualifications:
Post secondary degree in the Life Sciences; experience in a lab environment (cell culture or immunological assay experience) is an asset
Sales, marketing, or customer service experience or familiarity is an asset
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and goal-focused environment

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$58,600.00 - $79,200.00STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
