Job description

We are looking for an outgoing, professionally-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join us during a great period of growth!Uptempo is committed to providing a great trajectory for advancement and we are proud that some of SDRs have been promoted into other areas of the company. However, that leaves us with a need for new team members. Your Opportunity to Make an Impact The goal of the Sales Development Representative is to uncover opportunities for Uptempo to provide value to new and existing customers. You'll accomplish this by contacting and connecting with identified prospective customers, as well as managing and responding to inbound inquiries. You'll leverage research and tools to connect with prospects daily via phone, email, social media and various channels. Through conversations with prospects, you'll develop interest and agreement from prospects on next steps in their evaluation of our solutions, such as scheduling demos or discovery calls with Sales. This is a remote position, however, candidate location must be in Eastern Standard Time Zone.

What You'll Do :

  • Outbound Activities : Facilitate targeted prospecting and Outreach activities to connect with prospective customers in a personalized 1 : 1 approach to Marketing, Finance, and Operations decision makers and key players at large enterprises.
  • Inbound Activities : Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries (Calls, Web-Leads, Email, Social, Chats) to assess interest-level and potential solution needs, prior to progressing prospects and customers forward towards actionable next steps with the appropriate account resource in Sales.
  • Learn continuously and develop into a sales development and customer expert; become a trusted advisor to prospects and customers by seeking to authentically understand their goals and position appropriate next steps with BrandMaker as the means to achieve them.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing and Sales in understanding and anticipating the needs of customers to consistently meet and exceed sales pipeline goals.
  • Extensive daily use of an advanced sales technology (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach and similar sales and marketing technology tools) to ensure accurate data management practices that provide verifiable performance measurements and trusted customer insights.
  • Demonstrate a professional, customer-centric approach during all interactions and initiatives.
  • Meet and exceed performance metrics for activities and Sales Qualified Leads that drive active opportunities for sales to pursue and win.

  • Higher education or equivalent experience.
  • Highly passionate, curious, detailed and motivated self-starter with a competitive drive to exceed goals while continuously improving. A desired to grow in your career with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to build relationships and reach agreement with clear and deliberate written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrable ability to learn and master new technology and processes, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent researching and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile and derive actionable insights.

The "nice to haves" :

  • Fluency in another language outside of English. (Any language is great!)
  • Previous experience working in a marketing or sales organization.
  • Located in Eastern Standard Time Zone
