The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for executing targeted sales strategies, conducting high-volume cold outreach, and nurturing new client relationships. This role will focus on generating meetings, managing lead pipelines, supporting marketing efforts, and driving growth through a combination of proactive prospecting and social media engagement. Travel may be required occasionally for client meetings, events, and tradeshows.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Commission pay - Estimated between 10-20k of extra potential earnings.

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment and is driven to exceed expectations. The Sales Representative will be a vital part of our dynamic sales team, collaborating closely with management, marketing, and operations.

Upward Mobility: Grow your career from Sales Development Representative (SDR) to Senior SDR, then advance to Account Executive (AE) and Senior AE roles based on your performance and skills.

Lead & Revenue Generation

  • Conduct high-volume cold calling to prospective clients across various industries.
  • Generate and secure 20+ qualified meetings per month (target for first 12 months, growing over time).
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads, tracking conversations and outcomes through CRM tools (Hubspot).
  • Maintain continuous outreach cadence through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and respond promptly, logging all conversations accurately in the CRM.
  • Build rapport with gatekeepers and decision-makers to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of client appreciation programs and related events.
  • Schedule and organize Lunch & Learn (L&L) initiatives to drive client engagement inclusive of logistics.

Market Analysis & Sales Strategy

-Track outreach activities, deal progress, and lead conversions meticulously within the CRM system.

-Monitor and analyze lead generation efforts to optimize strategies for maximum efficiency.

-Regularly engage with prospects on social media to build brand awareness and nurture relationships.

-Create and publish a weekly social media post to promote services, insights, or company updates.

-Utilize AI tools and sales intelligence platforms to enhance prospecting effectiveness.

-Customize client outreach based on industry trends and client-specific challenges, offering tailored solutions.

-Identify objections and develop tailored responses to overcome them efficiently.

-Work with marketing and operations teams to deliver synchronized sales campaigns.

-Contribute to the preparation of client pitches, proposal templates, and sales documentation.

-Organize sales-related administrative workflows including SOPs, systems, and processes.

-Track all client touchpoints, meetings, and communications in CRM ensuring up-to-date, real-time data for the team.

-Participate in brainstorming sessions with marketing to optimize lead nurturing strategies.

-Assist in promotional event planning and marketing follow-up sequences.

-Such other duties and responsibilities as the Company may reasonably require.

  • 1–2 years of sales experience with a documented track record of success.
  • Exceptional phone and email communication skills with strong objection-handling abilities.
  • Resilience against rejection and a relentless attitude towards pipeline building and client engagement.
  • Positive, energetic attitude with a strong drive to succeed and consistently exceed sales quotas.
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented problem solver who takes initiative and works independently.
  • Strong teamwork skills for effective collaboration with management, clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Highly organized, and capable of creating and maintaining systems, processes, and detailed SOPs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Technical acumen with a strong understanding of industry-specific terminology.
  • Comfortable with heights or willing to overcome height-related concerns (due to project environments).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (experience is a plus).
  • Comfortable using AI-driven sales or CRM tools to optimize workflows and outreach.
  • Strong social media skills, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook for prospecting and engagement.
  • Primary work based in a modern, climate-controlled office. A workstation will be provided. Professional appearance and use of company-provided uniforms are required.
  • Periodic travel to client sites, project locations, tradeshows, and events, with exposure to outdoor conditions and varying weather.
  • Mandatory use of PPE (e.g., hard hats, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vests) at active work sites/job site visits.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 75 pounds, frequent walking, climbing ladders and stairs, balancing, stooping, and setting up equipment (components up to +/- 50 pounds).
  • Standing or walking for extended periods may be required.
  • Work may involve exposure to extreme heat and cold based on project needs.
  • Climbing and working off ladders, stairs, scaffolding and objects in excess of 100 meters.

(Note: You will be required to pass a Rope Access certification and work a few days a year as a Rope Technician as a requirement for potential promotion into an AE position.)
