Job summary

s.t.o.p. Restaurant Supply is seeking a Sales Coordinator for our Kitchener location. You’ll support an Inside Sales Rep, manage customer accounts, and drive growth with a customer-first mindset.

You’ll identify opportunities, cross-sell, and upsell while maintaining quotes, pricing, and product information. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential to meet sales KPIs and build lasting partnerships.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in sales, inside sales, customer service, or sales coordination.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and KPIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Inside Sales Representative in managing, developing, and growing assigned customer accounts.
  • Proactively identify sales opportunities through customer purchasing history, trends, inactive accounts, and declining sales.
  • Increase customer spend through cross-selling, upselling, complementary products, new products, and product category expansion.
  • Maintain and follow up on outstanding quotes and sales opportunities to improve quote-to-order conversion.
  • Conduct outbound customer calls for promotions, reorders, new products, back-in-stock items, seasonal opportunities, and sales follow-ups.
  • Build customer retention by maintaining regular contact, identifying changes in purchasing behaviour, and helping regain lost business.
  • Prepare quotes, pricing, product information, availability, alternatives, and customer history to support sales activities.
  • Ensure customer requests, sales opportunities, and follow-up activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, quotes, opportunities, conversions, and other sales activities.
  • Work toward established sales KPIs, including sales growth, customer spend, outbound contacts, quote conversion, reactivated customers, retention, and new opportunities generated.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the Sales team and overall business needs.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Sales Coordinator at our Kitchener location, you'll bring your energy and customer-first mindset to every interaction. From assisting restaurants with product questions and order support to building lasting relationships through exceptional service, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers feel valued, supported, and set up for success — while growing your own career along the way. Here's what your days might look like:

We’d love to hear from you if you’re:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, customer service, or sales coordination.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP Business One or another ERP/CRM system is an asset.
  • Foodservice, restaurant supply, distribution, or wholesale experience is an asset.
  • Proficient in using AI applications and tools to improve productivity, customer engagement, sales research, and opportunity identification.
