Job summary

Rodd Hotels & Resorts in Charlottetown is seeking a Sales Coordinator on a 1-year maternity leave contract. You will coordinate group bookings, support the Sales team administratively, and act as the client liaison to ensure smooth inquiries through arrival.

The role requires hospitality experience, Salesforce/Maestro familiarity, and strong organizational skills, with compensation of $40,000–$44,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Hospitality, or related field is an asset.
• Minimum of two years of experience in hotel or hospitality industry.
• Reservations and/or sales experience are assets.
• Experience with Salesforce and Maestro is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and customer service; communicate professionally with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, responding to group booking inquiries by phone and email and directing inquiries to the appropriate Sales Manager.
• Coordinate all aspects of sport team bookings, corporate and LCR bookings including responding to availability requests, quoting rates, and booking groups in the CRM and property management systems.
• Coordinate and enter room lists into the property management system.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, Sales Managers, and properties throughout the booking process.
• Respond to space and availability inquiries in a timely manner when the Sales Manager is unavailable.
• Enter and maintain accurate client and booking information in Salesforce and Maestro.
• Gather and prepare data to support sales forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare, update, and process agreements, contracts, proposals, and other sales documents.
• Prepare and run reports as requested; provide administrative support to the Sales team.
• Assist with planning and coordination of Sales events.
