Job summary

JAK's Beer Wine Spirits is seeking team members to create memorable guest experiences in a lively retail setting. You’ll greet customers, recommend local favourites and pairings, and ensure smooth checkout with a friendly, efficient approach.

You’ll also help with merchandising, receiving stock, and maintaining a well-organized sales floor for guests to explore. The role emphasizes energy, passion for drinks, and a willingness to learn about wine, craft beer, cider, and spirits while flexible

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are exactly the same, but your main focus will always be creating great experiences for our guests:

• Guest Engagement: Chat with customers, recommend local favourites, and suggest food pairings.
• Till & Checkout: Deliver friendly, efficient service at the register.
• Merchandising & Stocking: Receive orders, unload pallets, and keep the sales floor looking great.
• Inventory & Warehouse: Keep product stocked, organized, and ready for guests.

Who We’re Looking For

You don't need to be a master sommelier on day one - we’ll teach you! We’re looking for team members who bring energy and passion to the floor:

• Customer-First Attitude: You enjoy helping people and making connections.
• Retail or Hospitality Experience: Prior customer service experience is a plus.
• Product Curiosity: An interest in wine, craft beer, cider, or spirits (and an eagerness to keep learning!).
• Physical Readiness: Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and manage physical inventory work.
• Flexibility: Available to work evenings and weekends.
