Job summary

JAK's Beer Wine Spirits is seeking team members in Vancouver to create memorable guest experiences. You will engage guests, recommend local favourites, and ensure smooth checkout, merchandising, and stock management on a fast-paced retail floor.

Training provided; appreciation for wine, beer, cider, or spirits encouraged. Positions offer competitive pay with tips, certification training, tasting allowances, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer-first attitude; enjoy helping guests and making connections.
• Retail or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Interest in wine, craft beer, cider, or spirits and eagerness to learn.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle inventory tasks.
• Evenings and weekends availability.

Responsibilities

• Guest engagement: chat with customers, recommend local favourites, and suggest food pairings.
• Till & checkout: provide friendly, efficient service at the register.
• Merchandising & stocking: receive orders, unload pallets, and keep the sales floor looking great.
• Inventory & warehouse: keep product stocked, organized, and guest-ready.

• Product Curiosity: An interest in wine, craft beer, cider, or spirits (and an eagerness to keep learning!).
• Physical Readiness: Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and manage physical inventory work.
• Flexibility: Available to work evenings and weekends.
