Some Of What You Do
As the Sales Area Representative, you’re responsible for the customer experience on the retail floor. You stay informed about the latest products and trends within office & workspace categories. You connect with customers, share your knowledge, and partner with them to offer solutions that meet their working & learning goals.

Specifically, You Will

1. Connect, share, and partner with customers to identify solutions that cater to their needs and add value.
2. Identify referral opportunities. Reconnect and follow up with customers.
3. Maintain company merchandising standards, including current pricing, signage, planograms, promotional planners, ad set-ups, and displays.
4. Stay updated through internal communication channels (mobile app, intranet, bulletin boards, etc).
5. Participate in serving customers at the checkout / customer service centre, and on the phone.
6. Follow all loss prevention measures and ensure store standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Three months to one year of related experience preferred.
• High school completion or ongoing studies preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to resolve customer concerns diplomatically.
• Effective communication across various mediums.
• Curious, approachable, passionate, and solutions-oriented.

Additional Information

• Moderate physical effort required for stocking and merchandising.
• Movement of freight using ladders and stock pickers.
