Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Applications Engineers, setting clear expectations and removing obstacles to their success.
• Ensure customers receive accurate, timely, and professional support.
• Build and refine the systems, workflows, and tools the team uses to manage pre-sale and post-sale support.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce response times, and improve customer satisfaction through better process design.
• Align applications processes and systems with the broader business, including sales, product development, and operations.
• Use data and feedback from the field to inform decisions and influence product and business strategy.
• Champion a culture where the team takes ownership of customer outcomes, communicates candidly, and continuously improves.
• Coach the team on navigating difficult customer conversations with professionalism and clarity.
• Continuously improve training materials, onboarding, and delivery methods across the team.
• Represent applications in cross-departmental planning and decision-making, bringing a business lens to technical conversations.
• Support various Antec Controls departments with process, systems, and customer-facing initiatives.

Applications & Customer Solutions Manager – Antec Controls

We are seeking a forward-thinking, business-minded Applications & Customer Solutions Manager to lead a team of Applications Engineers in a dynamic HVAC manufacturing environment spanning both mechanical equipment and HVAC controls.

This role is less about being the technical expert in the room and more about leading the team that is. Your focus will be on strategy, systems, and business outcomes — improving how the team works, connecting applications with the rest of the business, and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
