Job summary

A Few Good Lads is seeking a driven Sales Account Manager based in Calgary to develop and manage client relationships across Alberta, focusing on Calgary and Edmonton. This autonomous, target-driven role aims to win new business, grow existing accounts, and collaborate with Operations and Health & Safety to deliver workforce solutions.

Travel will be regular between Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding areas; you will present AFGL's workforce solutions tailored to client needs and maintain CRM

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of business development or account management experience.
  • Construction, staffing or industrial sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Alberta.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada and based in or willing to relocate to Calgary.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new clients across Alberta's construction, industrial, civil, energy and related sectors.
  • Develop and grow existing client accounts through regular meetings and site visits.
  • Travel regularly between Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding areas.
  • Present AFGL's workforce solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Health & Safety to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Negotiate service agreements and oversee client onboarding.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Represent AFGL at networking events, trade associations and industry functions.
  • Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, forecasts and KPI reporting.
