GlobalStep is seeking a Russian Localization Video game Tester (LQA) in Montreal to verify Russian translations in games and related software, and to enter errors into the database. The role requires strong language skills and meticulous attention to detail.

You will work with the Lead Tester to ensure language quality, adapt content to the Russian market, and report findings using standard evaluation tools. English and Russian communication is essential.

Competenze

Deep knowledge of Russian culture and language.
Ability to communicate in English, Russian both orally and in writing.
Ability to understand texts of varying complexity in English.
Experience in translation or localization is a plus.

Mansioni

Ensure quality of video game and software translations across texts and audio files.
Enter spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, and translation errors into the database.
Suggest corrections to achieve high translation quality for clients.
Identify inconsistencies in story, context, or terminology.
Ensure content is well adapted to Russian language and market.
Report tasks using an evaluation sheet to the Lead Tester.
