Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Field Service Technician, Crushing Products to deliver superior service and expertise while maintaining high standards. You will be on field assignments across Eastern Canada with rotations 14x14 or 21x21 days.

The role offers full-time permanent employment with a wage of $51.46 per hour and a comprehensive rewards package. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities are provided through internal training programs.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in heavy equipment mechanics or industrial mechanics.
• 2 years' experience in maintenance and repair of crushing or screening equipment.
• A valid driver’s license is required and willingness to travel within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems using testing equipment and technical skills.
• Maintain and repair crushing and screening equipment out in the field.
• Undertake new equipment installations and commissioning.
• Maintain communication with customers and provide timely service reporting.

Description

Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician, Crushing Products to provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.

** Rotational 14x14 or 21x21 day rotations **

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$51.46

• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems using testing equipment and leveraging top tier technical skills
• Maintain quality workmanship to inspect, repair and rebuild crushing & screening equipment within the established time standards out in the field
• Undertake new equipment installations and commissioning
• Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visits and timely service reporting

Must-haves for this role:

• Post secondary education in the field of heavy equipment mechanics, industrial mechanics or experienced millwrights
• 2 years' experience in the maintenance and repair of crushing or screening equipment
• Work experience in the construction or mining sectors is an asset
• A valid driver’s license is required and willingness to travel within an assigned territory
