Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Field Service Technician, Crushing to travel directly to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and provide superior service and product expertise. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar equipment with a focus on safety and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Must hold 421A Heavy Equipment Technician license per provincial standards.
• Minimum 3 years of repair and service experience on heavy equipment in shop and field.
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET/SIS helpful).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment and repair to established time standards.
• Maintain quality workmanship and on-site communication with customers.
• Visit customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$51.46 to $55.24

• Maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment within the established time standards out in the field Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visits

Must-haves for this role:

• A valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License relative to this position, following Provincial standards
• Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be beneficial)
• A valid Driver’s Licence (DZ Licence preferred)
