Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites in an Toromont Service truck, delivering expert service and maintenance to Caterpillar equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing field repairs, and maintaining strong customer relationships with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS beneficial).
• Valid Driver’s License (DZ Licence preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems on Caterpillar equipment in the field.
• Perform repairs and service to Caterpillar equipment within established time standards.
• Maintain quality workmanship and on-site customer relations.
• Demonstrate safe work practices in line with Toromont’s Health and Safety Culture.

Job description

Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician, Crushing to go directly to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.

Pay Type
Full Time, Permanent

Compensation
$51.46 to $55.24

• Maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment within the established time standards out in the field Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visits

Must-haves for this role:

• A valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License relative to this position, following Provincial standards
• Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be beneficial)
• A valid Driver’s Licence (DZ Licence preferred)
