Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in London, Ontario, is seeking a Roofing Superintendent to lead on-site roofing projects, supervise crews, and ensure safety and quality on every job. This hands-on leadership role supports crews, maintains client relationships, and ensures projects are completed to Flynn standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in commercial roofing, strong blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid G driver's license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate roofing crews and manpower.
• Monitor, approve, and track labour hours.
• Communicate daily with crews, management, general contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Attend project meetings and site handoffs.
• Conduct site visits and resolve job site challenges.
• Ensure safety, field reports, and site documentation are up to date.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and site logistics.
• Manage productivity, project execution, and contractual performance.
• Coach and mentor field crews.

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Roofing Superintendent to join our London Branch and support commercial roofing projects throughout London and the surrounding region.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing field operations, supporting crews, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Flynn standards.The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings. Commercial roofing experience is an asset but not required.
