Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in Mississauga is seeking a Roofing Project Manager with 5+ years in commercial construction. You will lead roofing projects, manage schedules and budgets, and be the primary contact for clients and team members.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, the ability to review drawings, and experience with Procore, MS Project, or Bluebeam. A driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Commercial roofing experience and knowledge of roofing systems, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar software is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing projects from award through completion.
• Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and labor targets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Lead project kickoff, handoff, and closeout meetings.
• Coordinate with Safety, Site Supervisors, and Foremen to ensure safe project execution.
• Identify project risks and negotiate effective solutions.
• Develop schedules of values and manage change orders.
• Utilize internal systems, including PIL and PFP.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards.

A Day in the Life
