Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa is seeking an RN to join the Medical Group. You will support the physician office healthcare team by applying the nursing process, clinical standards, and established protocols to coordinate patient care.

This role requires a Florida RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience. The position is full-time, onsite, with a day shift, Monday to Friday, offering comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN License.
• 1 year of Nursing experience.
• 1 year of Medical Office experience preferred.
• Technical Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Support the physician's office healthcare team with nursing process.
• Independently manage a group of patients using nursing process.
• Apply clinical standards and protocols to patient care.
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare team for continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to team members.
• Review patient information and coordinate follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Support quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Utilize nursing judgment to support patient outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Role Overview

As an RN within the BayCare Medical Group, you will support the physician's office healthcare team by utilizing the nursing process, clinical standards, and established protocols to help manage and coordinate patient care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and the ability to work independently while supporting providers and other members of the healthcare team.

• Supporting quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Utilizing sound nursing judgment to support patient outcomes
• Performing other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications Education

• Technical Degree in Nursing OR
• Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience Required

• One (1) year of Nursing experience

Preferred Experience

• One (1) year of Medical Office experience

Licensure / Certification Required

• Active Florida RN License
