Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst – Proficient to join our client’s Corporate Support function. This role supports supplier governance and oversight activities throughout the third-party lifecycle. You will work with various lines of business, providing risk advisory support and helping to ensure adherence to third-party risk policies, standards, and frameworks.

This is a contract opportunity for 12 months, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and business needs. It is a hybrid role in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities
  1. Support daily operations of third-party risk governance using enterprise risk tools
  2. Provide advisory support for risk assessment processes and change management activities
  3. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance program efficiency and integration
  4. Drive continuous operational improvement initiatives including quality control and gap analysis
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business lines
  6. Troubleshoot operational issues, escalate risks, and resolve conflicts in collaboration with stakeholders
Qualifications
Must-Have:
  • Degree in Business Administration (BComm or MBA)
  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Risk or Risk Management
  • Professional certifications such as CTPRP, CRM, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of Risk & Governance frameworks and the supplier management lifecycle
  • Experience with risk tools such as Archer, Ivalua, Concur, or equivalent
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice-to-Have:
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Familiarity with financial services or banking environments
  • Ability to interpret contract and procurement language
