Job Description: Market Risk Analyst (3091) at TD

Join TD as a Market Risk Analyst (3091) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This full-time position offers a salary range of $65,600 - $98,400 CAD, working 37.5 hours per week within the Risk Management line of business.

Department Overview: Market Risk (MR) manages trading and non-trading market risk, counterparty credit, margin management, and liquidity risk. The team supports TD Securities and TBSM business objectives, ensuring risks are measured, reported, and transparent across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a culture of risk management and control aligned with enterprise policies and risk appetite.
2. Develop standards, policies, and processes to identify and mitigate risks.
3. Monitor and analyze existing and emerging risks.
4. Conduct reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations.
5. Collaborate with internal and external partners to support risk management initiatives.
6. Validate daily risk exposures and ensure accurate reporting in line with policies.
7. Enhance risk management tools using programming languages like Python and VBA.

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate, with 2-3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of risk processes and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a demanding environment.
• Knowledge of data processing techniques; proficiency in Python and VBA is a plus.
• CFA/FRM pursuit or completion is an asset.
