The Risk & Control Analyst will support the Global Risk & Control Governance (RC&G) team and collaborate with Business & Client Services (BCS) teams to implement the Risk & Control framework, ensuring risks are proactively identified, measured, monitored, and escalated appropriately.

What will you do?

  • Support the BCS RC&G team and partner with BCS line managers to execute the Operations Risk & Control framework, ensuring risks are proactively managed.
  • Conduct governance and reporting activities, assist in automation efforts, and support the enhancement of the firm’s operational risk framework.
  • Collaborate globally with the BCS RC&G team to manage and improve risk oversight by executing activities such as:
    • Tracking and maintaining BCS mandatory absence requirements.
    • Monitoring outstanding issues and actions related to operational risk, compliance, and IAS to ensure timely resolution.
    • Maintaining the BCS Key Control Inventories.
    • Assisting in reporting, documentation, and content management improvements for BCS RC&G.
    • Supporting maintenance of BCS RC&G SP & Connect site, Tableau Dashboard, and ControlNet.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to identify key risks and control gaps.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Banking or Capital Markets Operations.
  • Experience in Risk Management and/or Audit.
  • Educational background in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Data Analytics skills.
