Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Saint-Laurent, QC is seeking a Personal Banker Trainee to help customers achieve their financial goals by offering tailored banking and investment guidance. You will work with frontline staff, provide personalized advice, and develop knowledge of TD's products in a fast-paced branch environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, IFIC completion, and a willingness to obtain CFSA within 12 months. Prior customer service or banking exposure is an asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary or undergraduate degree is an asset.
• Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.
• CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.
• Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Advising customers of high-level financial solutions from a range of investment and credit banking products.
• Engage with customers by asking thoughtful questions to retain and deepen relationships.
• Provide personalized financial advice while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
• Serve as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.
• Participate in reviews and discussions with customers about portfolios and goals.
• Stay informed on evolving regulations and industry codes of conduct.
