Job summary

Roots Outlet Collection at Niagara, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, is hiring a Team Lead to connect the leadership team with sales associates, support store operations, and motivate the team to exceed goals.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of retail apparel experience (luxury a plus), proven leadership, POS management and daily banking, strong organization, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience in a retail apparel environment.
• Luxury retail experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team.
• POS management, daily banking procedures, and submitting timely reports.
• Strong organization and problem solving skills.
• Passion for exceptional customer experience.
• Collaborate with others, be self-motivated.
• Flexible to varied weekly shifts including weekends, closing and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Link the leadership team and the sales associates by assisting in the operational functions of the store and motivating the team to exceed goals.
• Report directly to the Store Manager and provide support to the Store and Assistant Managers in their absence.
• Model desired selling and customer service behaviours for an exceptional in-store experience.
• Contribute to opening/closing procedures and inventory duties as directed.
• Communicate performance feedback to store management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines.
