Job summary

EZmart Venture Pvt Ltd in Scarborough, ON is seeking a Retail store supervisor who is enthusiastic and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. The role is a permanent, full-time position with a wage of CAD 22.50 per hour for 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

As supervisor you will assign duties to sales staff, hire/train, set schedules, oversee inventory, handle customer requests, ensure exceptional service, and prepare sales and pricing reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties to sales workers.
• Hire and train staff or arrange for staff training.
• Establish work schedules.
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
• Resolve issues such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• Organize and keep inventory.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
• Accept payment for goods or services.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Prepare inventory costs, retail pricing and profit reports.
• Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft.
