Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Canada is seeking a Store Leader to guide associate teams in daily operations and ensure superior customer experiences. The role emphasizes coaching, adherence to store procedures, and profitability management within a dynamic retail environment.

You will work closely with the store leadership team to uphold policies, provide training, and foster a positive store culture while meeting business goals and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the role or a related field.
• Effective communication skills needed to interact with leadership, associates and customers.
• Experience operating a Point of Sale (POS) system and other in-store computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day work of associate-level staff.
• Provide direction, training, and coaching to associate-level team members to ensure efficient operations and proper store procedures.
• Supervise assigned department to maintain store profitability through receiving, handling, replenishing and processing.
• Create and maintain store culture through teamwork and coaching, leading by example.
• Collaborate with store leadership on policies, procedures, and standards for assigned areas.
• Maintain company standards and policies; ensure compliance and resolve issues.
