Job summary

Cozey is opening a flagship Edmonton store at West Edmonton Mall. The Retail Store Ambassador role is part-time or full-time, in-store, with in-person training starting November 2. You will greet customers, guide them through our collection, and provide design advice that fits their space and lifestyle.

As a fast-growing, online-first brand, you’ll help turn visits into orders, in person or online. Expect to learn products in depth, resolve issues swiftly, and work with the team to achieve sales

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with customers and clear communication (verbal and written).
• Ability to stay organized and adapt quickly when priorities shift on a busy day.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through the collection with furniture and design advice.
• Learn products inside out (features, materials, configurations) to answer questions confidently.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally and own them until fixed.
• Capture customer details, create draft orders and follow up promptly to turn store visits into orders.
• Keep displays, layouts and merchandising aligned with Cozey standards; maintain a clean, organized store.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the mission of the Retail Store Ambassador is to help every customer find furniture that fits their home, and to make our Edmonton store a place people enjoy visiting.

After the success of our stores in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal, we're opening our Edmonton flagship at the West Edmonton Mall on November 17 and building the founding team now. This is a part-time or full-time, in-store role at West Edmonton Mall. In-person training starts November 2.

What you'll be doing

• Greet customers and guide them through the collection, giving furniture and design advice that fits their space and how they live.


• Learn our products inside out (features, materials, configurations) so you can answer any question with confidence.


• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally, and own them until they're fixed.


• Capture customer details, create draft orders and follow up promptly, so a store visit turns into an order, in person or online.


• Keep displays, layouts and merchandising aligned with Cozey standards, and the store clean and organized at all times.


• Take part in ongoing training on new products, selling techniques and store policies.


• Work with the team to hit our sales and KPI goals.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

• 1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service.


• A friendly, approachable way with customers, and clear communication, both verbal and written.


• The ability to stay organized and adapt quickly when priorities shift on a busy day.


• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays.


• Comfort with physical work, including standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs when reorganizing the store. Interest in furniture, home décor or lifestyle retail is an asset.
