Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a Retail Operations Supervisor to drive sales through outstanding customer service, strong leadership, and adherence to brand standards across the store. You will model selling behaviors, engage customers, and coach associates to deliver a seamless shopping experience.

You will oversee inventory, merchandising, promotions, backroom tasks, and front office duties, including weekly cash office administration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience with direct accountability for sales targets.
• Strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Keen eye for visual merchandising and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagement and coach selling behaviors to drive sales.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising standards, and stock levels; manage backroom tasks and reporting.
• Support training, development, and performance coaching for a high-performance team.
• Coordinate front office duties including weekly cash office administration and reporting.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
