Old Navy in Canada is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development in collaboration with the General Manager.

You will recruit and coach Brand Associates and Experts, own your area, execute action plans, and ensure compliance while leveraging omni-channel tools to connect with customers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and teammates.
• Passion for retail and fast-paced environments.
• Driven by metrics to meet business goals.
• Willing to lead and mentor others.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnight and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and results with a customer-centric approach.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
