Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to blend strategy, operations, and people leadership at our Burnaby store. You will drive sales by analyzing the business, delivering best-in-class service, and overseeing daily operations from opening to closing.

You'll lead recruiting, training, and development, build visual displays, and ensure brand standards while coaching a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and develop staff in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines.
• Supervise salesfloor and stockroom for outstanding service and operations.
• Conduct staffing, scheduling, and payroll management.
• Train and develop non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness to drive sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decisions.
• Protect store assets and perform inventory control.
• Operate POS systems and fulfill omni-channel orders.
• Represent the brand and uphold company culture and values.
