Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant corporate restructuring, insolvency, turnaround or related financial advisory experience.
• Canadian CPA designation is required.
• A CFA designation or MBA degree is considered an asset.
• Enrolled in or progressing through the CIRP Qualification Program, with interest in continued progression within insolvency.
• Working knowledge of the BIA, CCAA and other relevant insolvency and restructuring legislation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute restructuring engagements.
• Work with senior client and stakeholder groups.
• Lead and develop engagement team members.
• Support mandates including receiverships, bankruptcies, proposals, and CCAA proceedings.
• Assess financial and operational position of distressed businesses and develop restructuring options.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow models, projections, and business plans.
