BDO Canada is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Corporate Restructuring group in Vancouver. You will work on advising creditors and distressed companies, developing cash flow models, and leading engagements from planning to execution.
The role emphasizes hands-on analysis, collaboration with management teams, lenders, and legal counsel, and exposure to receiverships, proposals, and bankruptcies. CPA designation and CIRP interest are valued.

We're looking for a Senior Associate to join our Corporate Restructuring group. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to build a meaningful career in financial advisory-where you'll be on the front lines of helping companies and creditors manage through disruption and change.
Our team works with creditors in recovering their debts through receiverships and bankruptcies, acting as court‑appointed officers to preserve and maximize value. We also assist distressed businesses to stabilize operations, assess strategic alternatives, improve liquidity, develop turnaround plans, and lead financial restructurings—both formal and informal.
Some days, that might mean building a cash flow model or preparing a strategic recovery plan. Other days, you're managing the sale of a business, preparing Court reports, or working alongside management teams, lenders and legal counsel to solve complex financial challenges. In restructuring, no two engagements are quite the same.
This is a hands‑on, dynamic role suited for someone who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and genuinely enjoys problem solving. It’s challenging-but also incredibly rewarding. This is a new role, and you’ll be part of a high‑performing team that celebrates contributions and fosters professional growth, while gaining broad exposure across restructuring and turnaround engagements.
